Admirable Standards Story Scale

Scale to show types of Admirable Standards by types of stories.
* + is minimally admirable.
* ++ is moderately admirable.
* +++ is extremely admirable.

Admirable Standards Story Scale shows the type of stories that have different types of admirable standards. Stories are divided into three different types: light-tone stories, mild-tone stories, and dark-tone stories that show the three types of stories by their tone. There are also standards that show different types of admirable standards: low-admirable standards, average-admirable standards, and high-admirable standards.

Story Types by Tone

  • Light-tone Story: Stories that often deals with topics that are not too serious. Many of these stories are often considered kid-friendly and made for a younger audience. These stories are often described as light-hearted or comical and have a little to no violence.
  • Mild-tone Story: Stories that have elements of light-hearted topics and tone and more serious and darker tones. These stories can be for an older audience. These stories often have a lot of action and can be very comical and have light-hearted content while having very serious topics.
  • Dark-tone Story: Stories that deal with very serious topics with little to no comical or light-hearted topics. Many of these stories are often made for an older and more mature audience because the topics that appear in these stories are too serious a topic for a younger audience. These stories can have some light-hearted elements or comedy, but it is often overshadowed by the consistent dark or grim tone.

Story Admirable Standards

Low Admirable Standards

Stories that have low-admirable standards.

  • + - Minimally Low-Admirable Standards: Stories where the admirable standards are very low. Heroic actions of any kind are rare within stories like these, and the overall topic or theme of this story focuses on topics that have neutral characters.
  • ++ - Moderately Low-Admirable Standards: Stories where the admirable standards are low. Heroic deeds are very limited for these types of stories. The overall story often focuses on topic and themes that is not focused exclusively on heroism or villainy.
  • +++ - Extremely Low-Admirable Standards: Stories where the admirable standards are considered low with added elements of that makes it more admirable than moderately low-admirable standards stories. These stories are still on the lower end of stories with admirable standards but still have limited amount of heroic deeds that is considered below average. This type of story has a higher chance to focus on topics of heroism and villainy.

Average Admirable Standards

Stories that have average-admirable standards.

  • + - Minimally Average-Admirable Standards: Stories that where the admirable standards are minimally low but average. Heroic actions are common in stories like these and can have topics that deal with heroism and villainy. Stories such as these are capable of having characters who can be Inconsistently Admirable (Rank 3 +), Near Pure Good (Rank 2 +), or Pure Good (Rank 1 +). Usually, stories like these are bound to have one or very few characters who are IA, NPG, or PG. Heroic deeds at this level is not too high and can also have topics and conflicts that is not focused on heroism and villainy.
  • ++ - Moderately Average-Admirable Standards: Stories that have average admirable standards. Heroic actions are common in these stories and stories such as these have a more common good vs. evil theme. There can be more than one character that is Inconsistently Admirable, Near Pure Good, or Pure Good. Level of heroic deeds is moderate at this level, not too high or too low for the topics, conflicts, and story-telling of the story.
  • +++ - Extremely Average-Admirable Standards: Stories that have an average-admirable standards that is higher than moderately average-admirable standards. Stories like these have violence as a common element of the story-telling and can have some very heroic deeds within the story. These types of stories are bound to have a few characters who are Inconsistently Admirable, Near Pure Good, or Pure Good.

High Admirable Standards

Stories that have high-admirable standards.

  • + - Minimally High-Admirable Standards: Stories that have minimally high-admirable standards. Heroic deeds are common within the story. Elements of good vs. evil themes and topics can also be common. These stories are bound to have a couple Inconsistently Admirable, Near Pure Good, and/or Pure Good heroes within the setting. The admirable standards are slightly higher than average because of the level of heroic actions that occurs more often than in the Extremely Average-Admirable Standards. At the same time, the admirable standards are minimal since it does not have the amount of heroic actions that is common at the moderately high level.
  • ++ - Moderately High-Admirable Standards: Stories with high-admirable standards. Heroic actions are common within these stories in addition to common topics and conflicts that deal with good vs. evil. These stories are bound to have many characters who are either Inconsistently Admirable, Near Pure Good, or Pure Good heroes. In addition, these stories may have more than one character who at first glance are very admirable but fails the admirable standards. Stories at these levels have exceptionally heroic deeds from time to time but the exceptionally heroic deeds are not as common. High-stakes conflicts to the setting is common.
  • +++ - Extremely High-Admirable Standards: Stories that have extremely high admirable standards. Exceptionally heroic deeds are common at this level of admirableness. Stories like these are bound to have multiple Inconsistently Admirable, Near Pure Good, or Pure Good heroes along with a couple characters who at first can be perceived to be notably admirable but fails the heinous standards. Stories like these often have high-stakes conflicts to the setting.
