Armin Arlert is a major character in the Attack on Titan franchise.

He is the childhood best friend of both Eren Yeager and Mikasa Ackerman. Originally a bright eyed boy from Shiganshina with a desire to discover the world beyond the walls, After joining the Survey Corps he proved himself to be a selfless and brave tactician and eventually went on to inherit the Colossal Titan. Armin would have his morality and worldviews tested as time went on, eventually having to face down his best friend in a battle that decided the fate of humanity.
