Summary[]
Berserk is a dark fantasy manga written by Kentaro Miura.
Morality Standard of the Verse[]
Admirable Standard[]
Although the series has a solid number of heroes in the story, it is too overshadowed by the dark nature of its universe to have heroes rival its negativity enough as a lot of the good guys are more so just dragged into being heroic for the sake of survival rather than their own accord with Guts, Casca and even Griffith serving as heavy examples. The only way that this would change if another era within the timeline has a less helpless balance of heroes standing their ground to the villains in the series, as even long before the eclipse or the birth of Guts, good and fair people alike were seen as helpless at the whim of evil.
Heinous Standard[]
- Frequent Common Hostility (Idea of Evil, Griffith/Femto)
The Heinous Standard is so high that it almost overwhelms the admirable standard of Berserk on every monstrous encounter of bog-standard evil vs bog-standard good.
