Rivaled Moral Standards

Works where the Admirable and Heinous standards don't outweigh each other.

This usually means there are many noble heroes and nasty villains in the story. The balance between good and evil in it is stable and thus the work has a mild tone, not extremely dark but still able to get darker at times.

A good example is Super Mario Bros, where both standards are very high, with many villains having heinous plans and many heroes stopping them.
