Summary[]
Dexter Morgan is the titular main protagonist of the crime drama series Dexter. He is a serial killer who witnessed the murder and dismemberment of his own mother as a young child, resulting in an insatiable desire to kill. He was taught by his adoptive father Harry to channel his urges for "good" through a vigilante code called the "Code of Harry," by which he would only target other killers. He also works as a forensic technician and blood spatter analyst for Miami Metro Homicide.
