Good is defined by traits of moral righteousness and desired behavior in an individual. Being good is part of the traits of being a hero and part of the trait in heroism altogether. Not all good characters written are heroes as some good people are pleasant but have no heroic deeds. Villains may also have traits of being good and can do good for others, though rarely to the same extent as heroes.
On the Moral Spectrum, Pure Good (Rank 1 +) characters are described to be nothing but good and the most beneficial and noble characters in the Moral Spectrum. These heroes may have had evil traits but became wholly reformed and became stripped of evil qualities.
Pure Evil (Rank 1 -) characters are completely devoid of any good qualities and have committed the most heinous crimes. These villains may have once had good qualities but over time subverting them.
