Goodness Zone
The Goodness Zone is an area where a character has committed an admirable act that solidifies them as notably virtuous and heroic. The act is committed by heroes and heroic characters who have contributed to helping people and potentially stopping something very bad. Characters who have corrupting qualities are capable of being passed the Goodness Zone. In some cases, characters who have committed acts in the Goodness Zone are bound to become Pure Good (Rank 1 +).
Some Fallen Heroes may have had moments where they were passed the Goodness Zone, but eventually fell to villainy. Despite what happened, they have a heroic moment that showed that they were once very noble.
Based On[]
Event Horizon[]
Goodness Zone is based upon the theory of the event horizon within white holes.
White holes are the reverse of black holes. Where as black holes suck up everything that comes near it, White holes expel everything inside it. Just like a black hole, there is an event horizon and a singularity. The event horizon within a white hole is a point of no entrance where nothing can get in, but information from the white hole is continuously expelled into the universe. Past the event horizon is the singularity that is stated to be infinitely dense, infinitely small, and have no volume. This is a place in spacetime where things are ejected into the universe but nothing can enter it.
Comparisons[]
- Event Horizon = Goodness Zone: An area where information can only exit the white hole. Similarly to how the actions of a hero can only be of benefit to those around them and can effect the environment as a whole.
- Singularity = Pure Good: An area that contains that is infinitely small, infinitely dense, and has no volume similarly to pure good characters who are absolutely noble and virtuous, and has no sign of corruption.
What makes a character's action cross the GZ?[]
- The action had a profoundly positive outcome on the setting of the story.
- The character targeted a dangerous villain and harmed them in a way that saves the lives of other characters within the story.

Notes[]
- All Pure Good characters are beyond the Goodness Zone. They constitute the singularity beyond the Goodness Zone for their actions and characteristics.
- All Near Pure Good characters are beyond the Goodness Zone for the actions they have committed.
- Due to how admirable Inconsistently Admirable characters are, these characters have also crossed the Goodness Zone at some point. Some of them may have been corrupted, but their best actions had them cross that point.
- Some Heroic Benchmark characters also crossed the Goodness Zone.
- Not all heroes have crossed the Goodness Zone. The character may have been admirable to be a hero but did not have a notably enjoyable moment where they crossed the Goodness Zone.
