Gumball Watterson is the titular main protagonist of the Cartoon Network animated television series, The Amazing World of Gumball, which was created by Ben Bocquelet.
He is a 12-year-old anthropomorphic blue cat known for his mischievous personality and tendency to get into tons of antics and misadventures. Gumball is a student at Elmore Junior High and lives in the suburban town of Elmore with his family, which includes his adoptive brother/best friend Darwin (a former pet goldfish who grew legs), his intelligent younger sister Anais, his short-tempered mother Nicole, and his lazy father Richard.
He is voiced by Nicky Jones in the pilot, Logan Grove in season 1-"The Kids," Jacob Hopkins in season 3-"The Copycats," and Nicolas Cantu in season 5-6 in The Amazing World of Gumball. He is voiced by Duke Cutler in The Gumball Chronicles.
