Summary[]
D-16, rechristened as Megatron is the main antagonist of the first half of the Transformers IDW Comics, later turned major protagonist for most of the story's remaining chapters. He was a miner bot who was forcibly assigned to the Energon Mines by the Functionist Council and began to spread writings calling out the Senate, which inspired several others to rise against the corrupt government forming the Decepticons, with Megatron becoming their leader and slowly becoming a more vile and heartless warlord who only lived for conquest until the moment where he realized the error of his ways and chose to redeem himself, pursuing redemption by ensuring a legacy that is more than death and carnage.
