Summary

Shadow the Hedgehog is a major character in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, making his debut appearance in Sonic Adventure 2. He was created as the Ultimate Life Form by Dr. Eggman's grandfather, Professor Gerald Robotnik. Due to seeking to avenge the death of his friend Maria Robotnik, he started off as Sonic's enemy, but eventually redeemed himself and protects the world from now on.
