Summary[]
Warhammer 40,000 is a tabletop wargame franchise created by Games Workshop. It is set fourty-thousand years into the future, in which nothing but war spans the whole galaxy.
Morality Standard of the verse[]
Admirable Standard
- In-General Positive: Warhammer 40k is, by and large, an "evil-versus-evil" setting. Even the most admirable characters have at least something morally grey about them, and even then, the focus of the narrative is generally not on heroic deeds. Every cause fought for in the setting is at the blatant expense of somebody else.
Heinous Standard
- Frequent Common Hostility: The heinous standards of Warhammer 40k are notoriously high. Mass genocides and mundicides, or at least (for those with less resources) participation in said crimes, are incredibly common in the setting and are carried out by virtually every major faction. Fates worse than death are not uncommon. For a villain to even remotely stand out, their evils would have to impact at least several different planets across the galaxy.
